Umeed sponsors IITBHU’s Jagriti

Recently, Umeed had the opportunity to showcase its work at IIT BHU’s Jagriti Fest. In addition to giving a talk on the organization’s mission and impact, Umeed also had a stall at Limbdi Corner, IITBHU. The stall showcased Umeed’s activities and provided an opportunity for interested students to register as volunteers. Around 100 students registered as volunteers at the stall and at the event, demonstrating the widespread interest in Umeed’s work.

During his talk, Umeed director Dhawal Patel emphasized the importance of “spiritual technology for social impact” in the organization’s work. He also provided insights into the organization’s beginnings and the impact it has had on the communities it serves. He highlighted how Umeed has worked with local communities to identify their needs and develop programs that are tailored to their specific needs. Mr. Patel also discussed the importance of sustainability in Umeed’s projects, explaining how the organization is working to develop self-sustaining programs that can continue to benefit communities. Umeed’s focus areas include education, health, women’s empowerment, and rural development. Through its various projects and initiatives, Umeed is working to make a difference in the lives of those in need. Some of its recent activities include COVID food distribution, youth skill training, and women’s empowerment programs.

In his talk, Mr. Patel also asked attendees to become agents of hope by committing to contribute one day to a social cause. All students present agreed and took a pledge to become agents of hope, committing to make a positive impact on society.

Overall, Umeed’s work is a shining example of how a small group of dedicated individuals can make a big difference in the world. The organization’s success at IIT BHU’s Jagriti Fest is a testament to the widespread interest in its work and the potential for individuals to become agents of hope and make a positive impact on society.

Finally, we would like to thank Team Jagriti for organizing an event promoting social service and bringing a change in society.
