 The Position: 

We are seeking coaches for our new Karate Zoo enrichment program. Amazing Athletes was founded in 2003 and has grown into one of the nation's largest multi-sport enrichment programs with over 50,000 kids enrolled each year. Our newest program, Karate Zoo, is leading the way in preschool martial arts. New Coaches can work *5-25 classes a week, earn 18$per hr, and can earn up to 40$per hr. 

• Our programs come with ready-made curriculums and extensive training to help you get up to speed quickly and enjoy working with the kids by teaching them martial arts! 
• Our Coaches use individual attention to ensure every child has success. 
• Our Coaches use a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun and we create a stress-free environment.
• Our Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success. 
• And finally, our coaches have a blast. They are open-minded and know that coaching Karate is a continuous journey. All Coaches are open to feedback and strive to be better by following the Karate Zoo Coaching Manual & Curriculum

No martial arts experience is not needed but an added bonus. A good attitude, a love of working with children, and a willingness to learn are key qualities we are looking for in a strong candidate. 

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience working with children (professional or volunteer) is preferred, particularly in a coaching or teaching capacity.
• A love for sports and martial arts, with a desire to inspire young kids.
• Availability to work flexible hours, primarily afternoons (3-5pm).
• Reliable transportation to travel to various locations.
• Ability to engage and connect with children in a positive way.
• Clean background check is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

THE LOCATION:

Classes are held across schools and recreational centers. Coaches are expected to travel up to an hour to get to a class location.
