Organizing Maniacs is hiring Part-Time Assistant Professional Organizers to join our growing team. This role starts part-time, with the potential to grow into full-time for the right candidate.

About Us

At Organizing Maniacs, we provide customized organizing solutions for individuals facing challenges such as ADD, ADHD, hoarding, and chronic disorganization. We also work with busy families and professionals who simply want more functionality and peace in their spaces. Our services include downsizing, move support (packing/unpacking), merging households, and preparing homes to sell through our signature Organize to Sell™ service.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and needs
• Provide systems, tools, and recommendations to support organization
• Help clients declutter, sort, and organize their spaces
• Adapt to and respect different organizing styles
• Maintain professional and supportive relationships with clients

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Patient, empathetic, and encouraging demeanor
• Reliable, trustworthy, and accountable
• Able to take initiative and work independently
• Energetic team player with a positive attitude

Position Details

• Compensation: $20 – $30 per hour
• Type: Part-Time (approximately 24 -32 hours per week)
• Schedule: Must be available Monday–Friday, 8 am–3 pm
• Travel: Reliable transportation required. Work primarily in Loudoun, Fairfax, and Prince William Counties, VA , Montgomery County, MD and Washington, DC .
• Must be able to work 3–4 days per week, depending on client needs.
