Position Summary
The Community and Advocacy Organizer Manager is a key managerial role within NCAE, responsible supervising a team of Community and Advocacy Organizers, overseeing community and parent organizing, and liaison between the state and field, the field team, and parents. This position ensures the alignment of local organizing efforts with NCAE’s multi-year statewide campaign to fully fund public education, end harmful voucher programs and corporate tax breaks, and restore collective bargaining rights for educators and public school employees.
The Community and Advocacy Organizing Manager will guide field-based organizing work that builds grassroots power through relationships with educators, parents, and community leaders. They will provide strategic and day-to-day support to organizers, help develop systems for campaign coordination, and ensure ongoing leadership development and advocacy skill-building across NCAE’s local and communities.
