We are currently seeking a Core Banking SME / Consultant to join our team in New Jersey, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Job Description – Core Banking SME / Consultant

Role overview

As an Core Banking SME / Consultant, within the Consulting Group, the person will be responsible to engage with clients across the stages of the Project Lifecycle – Requirements gathering, Mapping processes, Solution architecture & Design through to development, UAT and deployment. This person should be a subject matter expert with 10 - 15 years of experience having worked on large Lending transformation projects. This person will work closely with Client Business/IT team & internal development and Lending product Vendor teams.

Experience :

Minimum Required Skills:

• 10+ years in banking technology, with at least 5+ years as a Core Banking SME.
• Platforms: Hands-on experience with one or more core banking platforms (e.g., nCIno, Temenos T24, Oracle Flexcube, Infosys Finacle, Avaloq, etc.).
• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of core banking operations—retail banking, corporate banking, lending, deposits, payments, treasury, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Technical Understanding: Familiarity with system architecture, data migration, integration frameworks, APIs, and cloud-based deployments.
• Consulting Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solutioning capabilities with client-facing consulting experience.
• Certifications (Preferred): Agile/Scrum, PMP/Prince2, ITIL, or domain certifications in banking and financial services.

Preferred Skills:

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills; ability to influence and collaborate across business and IT teams
• Good understanding of the banking domain, applicable Lending regulatory environment
• Should be able to able to play catalyst role between business and IT
• Engineering + MBA degree is preferred
