Job Description

Health Resources and Response - Bismarck, ND - Courier (Driver)

As our Courier , you will play an important role in supporting the Department Operations Center (DOC) by assisting with a variety of departmental activities that help keep public health efforts running smoothly. You will deliver vaccines, supplies, and medical equipment across the state, ensuring that communities and healthcare partners have what they need when they need it. You will also maintain accurate inventory of supplies, take part in quality improvement projects, and make sure every delivery is tracked, documented, and handled with care.

You will follow all safety and confidentiality protocols while ensuring that each delivery is completed accurately and securely. Beyond deliveries, you will assist with other activities that support public health resources and emergency response efforts, helping the department stay ready and responsive to the needs of North Dakotans.

To succeed in this position , you should be ready and willing to travel throughout the state, sometimes during irregular hours. You will need to have a solid understanding of the state's defensive driving requirements when operating a state fleet vehicle and be comfortable driving long distances in a variety of weather conditions. Navigating routes efficiently and ensuring timely delivery of critical supplies will be key to your success.

To be considered for this position , you are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid North Dakota driver's license or any other state is also acceptable.
