Job Description

The Electronics Repair Technician/Sales Associate is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing customer devices in a timely manner while delivering exceptional customer service. This role also involves upselling Asurion Tech Care products and accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices.
• Recommend effective solutions and explain repair options clearly.
• Communicate technical issues in a simple, customer-friendly manner.
• Provide accurate repair and replacement estimates.
• Ensure all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix quality standards.
• Promote and sell Asurion Tech Care products and accessories.
• Greet customers warmly and maintain a positive store environment.
• Answer phone calls professionally and courteously.
• Track devices, repairs, and inventory accurately.
• Use the point-of-sale system to maintain customer and repair records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store appearance.
• Deliver outstanding customer experiences that exceed expectations.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CompTIA A+ Certification.
• WISE Certification*
• Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT).
• Experience repairing smartphones, PCs, Macs, and gaming consoles.
• Technical degree or certification in electronics.
• Prior experience in a retail electronics environment.
• Bilingual (strongly preferred).

*WISE Certification will be provided.
