THE ROLE & WHY IT EXISTS

Gravitee is building a global brand in API and event stream management and we need a public-facing technical leader to scale our U.S. presence. This role bridges deep technical credibility with strategic evangelism. You’ll act as our go-to closer for high-stakes enterprise deals, a speaker and writer who sets the narrative in the API space, and a trusted voice bringing market insights back into our product roadmap.

You’ll be our U.S.-based technical evangelist with real product influence and field power. Gravitee is backed by strong enterprise adoption, a top spot in the Gartner MQ, and a deep investment in generative AI. This is a rare chance to shape the public face of a technical product and have your name on it.

What You Will Be Doing

• Drive Enterprise Deal Confidence: Join US sales cycles as Gravitee’s most trusted technical voice. You’ll be the person Gravitee sends when technical validation and vision make or break the deal.
  
• Lead Technical Storytelling:  Publish thought pieces, diagrams, and deep dives on APIs, protocols, and emerging architecture patterns. Make Gravitee a known voice in the dev/architect community.
  
• Strengthen Our Technical Brand: Create and post content that shapes how Gravitee is perceived, protocol trends, whiteboards, deep dives, and more. You’ll write it, own it, and be visible doing it.
• Represent Gravitee at Conferences & Events: Act as the face of Gravitee at industry conferences, meetups, and technical events, showcasing Gravitee’s thought leadership and technical expertise
  
• Customer & Market Engagement: Work directly with customers to understand their technical challenges, provide guidance on how Gravitee can address their needs, and bring insights back to the product team to inform future development.
  
• Connect Market Back to Product: Bring structured feedback from customer conversations directly into Gravitee’s product and engineering orgs.

Essential Skills

• 7–12 years of experience in hands-on technical roles, particularly in customer-facing technical advisory and pre-sales environments.
• Strong expertise in API technologies, API management, integration ecosystems, or event-driven architecture (bonus if you bring AI experience too)
• Proven thought leadership, with published articles, blog posts, conference talks, or webinars
• Excellent communicator with the ability to break down complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences

Who You Are

• You're comfortable in pre-sales environments. You demo, diagram, and debate. You’re not a figurehead; you know how the tech works.
• Deep knowledge of APIs, event-driven systems, or integration platforms (bonus points if you’ve lived in all three)
• External presence. You’ve got blog posts, talks, panels, or webinars to your name. If we Google you, we find you.
• API-native or developer-first DNA. You’ve worked in a devtool, platform, or infra company where the buyer is technical.
• Technical storytelling skills. You don’t just explain tech. You make people care about it.
• Low ego, all execution. You’re hands-on and thrive in a role that involves frequent travel and external visibility.
