Overview:

The Housekeeper position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the Service Center and office areas. This position requires knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their restrictions.

$16.46 per / hour

1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 6am - 4:30pm

Mid Shift: Tuesday through Saturday 8:30am - 5pm

2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday 3:30pm - 2am

Weeekend Shift: Friday through Monday 6am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• *Efficiently clean within the warehouse to include office areas, bathrooms, and cafeteria.
• *Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc…
• *Operate various motorized equipment including floor polishers, sweeper vac, etc…
• *Remove snow by hand or mechanical means
• *Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.
• Brings problems to the attention of the supervisor, manager, safety director or HR manager.
• Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without accommodation.
• Required to stand (stationary position) during scheduled hours. Hours usually include weekends, evenings and holidays in conjunction with labor regulations.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods.
• Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling and moving weights of 0-25 pounds constantly and 25-40 pounds occasionally and over 40 pounds seldomly with or without assistance as needed.
• Ability to move up to 40 pounds at least 25 feet in distance occasionally with assistance as needed.

Qualifications:  

• Must be 18 years old to apply.  

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  

• Ability to read, write, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required .  

• Basic proficiency in speaking and understanding English* to comprehend safety instructions, participate in safety drills and effectively communicate in case of emergencies.

Required Education and Experience:  

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of previous experience in a warehouse facility preferred.
• Basic proficiency in speaking and understanding English* to comprehend safety instructions, participate in safety drills and effectively communicate in case of emergencies.

Benefits:

Base rate paid bi-weekly: $16.46 per / hour

• Earn wage increases following the completion of 90 days , 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months of service, totaling up to $1.07/hr on top of the base rate.

Shift Differential: Additional $1.00 / hour for 2nd shift hours
