The IT Manager (NetSuite Heavy) leads the company’s technology operations and initiatives, balancing hands-on technical execution with team leadership and strategic planning. This role oversees all IT systems and applications, including infrastructure, cloud services, and business platforms such as NetSuite. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the IT Manager ensures technology supports business growth, efficiency, and compliance while managing a team of IT professionals.
This position requires both technical depth (particularly in NetSuite administration and systems integration) and the ability to manage priorities, vendors, and projects across multiple sites.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and mentor the IT team, including developers, help desk staff, and NetSuite and
SuiteCommerce administrators.
Oversee the IT ticketing system (Jira), ensuring prioritization, timely resolution, and proactive issue management.
Actively administer and support NetSuite and related integrations (SuiteCommerce, Jira, etc.).
Identify process gaps and lead automation or system improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and scalability.
Support the IT needs of a distributed workforce across multiple sites and remote teams.
Collaborate with global IT counterparts to ensure system compliance, cybersecurity, and alignment with corporate standards.
Oversee infrastructure and applications.
Balance hands-on technical execution with strategic planning.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Maintain system security, access control, and data integrity across all platforms.
Evaluate and manage external IT vendors and service providers.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
Ability and passion in building with an ability to roll up sleeves, (hands on work style) and be a team player.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, etc.) are a plus.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
Effectively manages change and shifting gears comfortably; highly effective in ambiguous environments and able to produce maximum results with little direction and guidance.
Comfortable managing competing priorities and shifting from tactical work to strategic planning.
Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and technology enablement.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
5–8 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; MBA preferred.
Demonstrated experience as a NetSuite Administrator.
Hands-on and proactive work style; comfortable both building and managing.
Solid understanding of infrastructure, networking, and cloud technologies.
