Our  Technology team has 6 different departments: Information Security, Service Delivery, Business Enabling Systems, eCommerce & Marketing Technology, Data and Stores, Services & Supply Chain.

How this role will make an impact:

This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity to employ your strong Basis leadership experience to manage and direct our SAP Basis Team. You will be responsible for the team work activities, balancing production support priorities with project deliverables. You will provide guidance on the design, architecture and delivery of new and existing SAP solutions by leading by example and providing hands-on assistance.

Your goals and responsibilities will include:

• Provide technical expertise, strategy, support, and leadership to the Basis Team, including but not limited to, establishing and documenting standards and requirements, evaluating and directing enhancements, implementing solutions for performance monitoring, and systems configuration, design and implementation
• Lead and mentor the Basis Team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, identifying training needs, team goal setting, and evaluations
• Oversee all aspects of SAP System administration, including system installations, database and OS upgrades, patches, storage, disaster recovery, and system copies and refreshes
• Responsible for the overall health and performance of the SAP technical environment – configuring, monitoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting of the technical landscape and taking corrective action
• Introduce technical changes and new technologies into the SAP landscape using a structured approach that follows best practice, minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance
• Lead Basis related projects ensuring timely deliverables through the full project lifecycle
• Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards within the SAP environment
• Subject matter expert on industry trends and best practices across SAPs infrastructure
• Support day-to-day tickets created by SAP Helpdesk relating to the SAP Application and associated system components

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred
• 10+ years hands-on SAP Basis Administration experience
• Strong working knowledge and experience in SAP ECC, BW, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, Solution Manager, SLT, BTP, S4HANA, SAP CAR
• Experience performing multiple SAP system installations, upgrades and managing SAP landscapes, functioning in both project execution and operations roles
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong Leadership and Project Management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and experience with SAP solutions on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• SAP Netweaver Certification preferred
• Experience with SAP Enterprise Cloud Services and RISE preferred
• Knowledge of Oracle environments preferred
• Knowledge of Linux and AIX Unix environments preferred
