Job Overview:
Job Overview: Medical laboratory jobs involve performing tests on bodily fluids, tissues, and cells to help physicians diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases and illnesses. Professionals in this field operate and maintain sophisticated lab equipment, ensure quality control, analyze test results, record data, and communicate findings to healthcare providers. Assumes responsibility for the performance of routine, standardized biological and/or biochemical tests, as well as more complex procedures on blood, urine, tissues, body fluids and other specimens that assist physicians in the diagnosis of clinical management of clinical management of patients. Assumes responsibility of recognizing results or problems that require referral to Supervisor, Manager and or Pathologist. Performs additional tasks as requested by Chairman of Pathology or his/her designee.
