We are looking for a dedicated a Release of Information Specialist (1st Shift) in Jacksonville FL 32254 with $16.00/hr pay for a 7-month contract, temp to permanent opportunity. In this role, you will be the bridge between healthcare providers and requestors—ensuring the secure, legal, and efficient release of medical records. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful, detail-focused work and thrives in a structured environment. – APPLY NOW!  Schedule : 8AM - 5PM Overview: Parts/Inventory Clerk participates as team members in a high volume, light manufacturing environment. Duties include packaging equipment, loading raw materials, equipment washing, quality control inspections and data recording. Technicians must maintain workstation in an organized and clean manner to ensure safety and Good Manufacturing Practices. Key Responsibilities:  Respond to release of information (ROI) requests with accuracy, urgency, and professionalism, ensuring all requests comply with HIPAA and organizational standards. Use scanning, photocopying, faxing, and digital tools to securely reproduce protected health information (PHI). Work with modern data tracking systems to log and manage requests, ensuring timely fulfillment and complete documentation. Communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and requestors, verifying credentials and ensuring the appropriate release of information. Generate and issue pre-payment notices, invoices, and cover letters based on the request type, and complete payment processing in line with policy. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: ~ High School Diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or R.H.I.T. certification a plus. ~1–3 years of experience in customer service, medical records, or healthcare preferred. ~ Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. ~ Proficiency in computer systems and strong attention to detail. ~ Excellent communication and time management skills.
