Grow Here! An established Piqua manufacturer needs a 2nd shift Molding Production Operator @ $19.50 per hour + Great Benefits. Operators will set up, operate, and troubleshooting molding machines, ensuring they are functioning correctly.

Duties:

• Add inserts to mold press, if required.
• Removes molded parts from compression mold machines baskets or by hand pulling parts out of mold and places on cart to move to workbench for processing.
• Uses utility knife and or rolling bar to remove flashing and mold marks.
• Weigh each part on digital scale and record the weight.
• Visibly inspect parts for defects.
• Box finished parts.
• Stack & secure boxes on skids.
• Box assembly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Maintain Production logs, such as weight of part, machine settings, production count, scrap count, and material information.
• Maintain accurate logs, such as number of finished products, lot number, box number, and other relevant production information.
• Attaches identification labels to finished goods boxes and/or skids.
• Responsible for final quality inspection and count.
• Use of a pallet jack.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• A Valid Driver’s License.
• Forklift Certification.
• Your Own Transportation.
• Able to Pass an Employment Drug Screen.. Saliva and/or Urine.
• A Clean Background with NOFelony Conviction.
• Able to lift 26-40 lbs., several times per shift.
• A Solid Work History, NO Gaps.
• Proficiency in machining and plastics injection molding
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to operate hand tools and perform materials handling tasks.
• Previous Forklift Experience a PLUS.
• 6 Months of Manufacturing Experience Required.
• Must be able read, write, understand and follow written and oral instructions.
