**Overview** **Location:** 5155 US Hwy 98 S Suite 5C, Lakeland, FL 33812 **Schedule:** As Needed, Monday-Friday **Pay:** $30/hr Select Physical Therapy is seeking a per diem **COTA** to support our outpatient clinic. You'll treat upper extremity conditions including tendon injuries, sprains, and post-op fractures, working alongside experienced hand therapists and orthopedic surgeons. New grads with fieldwork in hand therapy and experience clinicians in hand therapy, APPLY! **Apply today** to join a team committed to quality care and professional growth. **Responsibilities** + Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients. + Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components + Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services. + Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals + Ensure proper documentation of patient care. + Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies **Qualifications** + Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program + National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED + Minimum 1 yr hand therapy experience.
