Job Title: RN – Nurse Educator (Home Care)

Location: New York, NY 10004

Schedule: 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday), 8-hour shifts, (50% in-office, 50% field)

Pay Rate:

• Local: $3,000/week
• Travel: $3,361/week

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking  RN – Nurse Educator (Home Care) for an exciting job in  New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver competency-based orientation and training programs
• Conduct field supervisory visits to evaluate clinical performance
• Provide education on best practices in maternal, adult, and behavioral health
• Track competency progress, identify gaps, and provide remediation
• Support quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Serve as a mentor and clinical resource for nursing staff
• Partner with leadership to advance nursing education and workforce strategies

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, including clinical education or a related role
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and nursing competencies
• Familiarity with home health care regulations and documentation systems
• Strong communication, teaching, and leadership skills

Required Certifications

• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
• COS-C Certification (Certificate for OASIS Specialists – Clinical)
• PALS Certification (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
