Requires a Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. As a Sr Advanced Nuclear Weapons Safety Systems Engineer for General Dynamics Mission Systems, youll lead and be responsible for the safety assessment effort in support of various development programs. You will work in a cross functional team responsible for updating and adding critical functionality to the weapons systems deployed on US Navy vessels.
