Wine, Liquor, & Beer Associate
Salary Range:?$18.00 To $22.00 Hourly

Sales – Chicago Southside, Oak Park, South and Western Suburbs (Part Time)
Liquor Department Cashier, Wine Sales and stocking shelves and Beer Coolers

Join the Pete’s Market family. We are an exceptional family (women) owned Grocery Store chain of over 20 stores.
We are hiring part-time Sales positions in our beautiful stores located but not limited to Oak Park, New Lenox, Wheaton, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Glen Ellen, Bridgeview, and Chicago’s Southside neighborhoods.

Position Requirements:
Must be 21 years old.
Wine /and liquor sales experience preferred but not required.
Background in the restaurant, hospitality industries or customer service success a plus
Wine lovers, Beer, Whiskey and Agave aficionados are welcome to apply. - we will assist you to become Basset Certified
Pete’s prides ourselves for customer service and selection, our team members are friendly, honest and have passion.
Organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
Willing to follow your general manager’s and your department buyers’ direction
Comfortable working without constant supervision?
Honesty is essential.
Regular Duties
Face and fill wine & liquor shelves and stock the beer cooler
Check customers out when a Cashier is not available to execute purchase
Say hello to all customers, introduce yourself and always politely offer your assistance
Make recommendations and food pairings
Assist and execute in-store tastings
Write Purchase Orders and place weekly Re-orders
Managing your time and responsibly managing your engagement with Supplier Reps

Compensation & Benefits:

$18 - $22 per hour
Pete’s Market stores are open 7 days a week, most often a shift would fall between the hours 11 am and 7pm. Positions are available during the week, and on weekends.
