Job Title: Part-Time Front Desk.

Department : Front Desk Operations.

Supervisor: On-site Property Manager / Front Desk Team Leader.

Status: Non-Exempt.


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Ocean's Edge Front Desk role offers hospitality and specialized concierge services to Ocean's Edge esteemed Ownership, by providing unsurpassed five-star customer experiences. The Front Desk position is dedicated to providing an extraordinary first impression for Ocean's Edge patronage.

The Front Desk Associate is responsible for providing assistance to the Owners, residents and their guests along with aiding in the protection of company assets by screening visitors and vendors entering the building. Each day is unique, requiring an ability to prioritize, multitask, think creatively, take initiative and employ a diverse set of skills. The Front Desk brings positive energy to each conversation, resolves issues efficiently and makes everyone feel welcome, appreciated and prized. You are an ambassador of the virtues set-forth by the culture and everything that Ocean's Edge is.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for achieving a thorough knowledge of the immediate geographic area in which
  • Ocean's Edge is located as well as a superior knowledge of the city and the region at-large.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Use discretion and maintain confidentiality of Owners proprietary information.
  • Greets and directs Residents, guests and invitees. Speak with clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship and support team to reach common goals.
  • Complies with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Offer warm, sincere and personalized welcomes to all Ocean's Edge patrons.
  • Where invited, engage conversations with Owners, identifying personal preferences.
  • Maintain a clean, neat and organized desk and work environment.
  • Monitors Emergency Response System.
  • Monitors and controls Electronic Security Control Systems.
  • Responds to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitors and controls access to the building.
  • Maintains daily log, records and forms.
  • Resolves and follows-up on all complaints/issues.
  • Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property(s).
  • Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
  • Other duties as required.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirement.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies on a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

  • Two to three years’ concierge or front desk experience serving high-end clientele in a four-to- five-star hotel is preferred; or two to five years customer service experience in a luxury service or product environment.
  • Display the epitome of a positive “yes can do” attitude.
  • The Front Desk Associate will be trained in the art of providing proactive, efficient and polished concierge services and the proper greeting of patrons, including the escorting of patrons through the building.
  • Must have natural and strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact with patrons.
  • Must have the ability to work well with others and must be a team player.
  • Must be able to communicate well both orally and in written form.


LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION AND OTHER SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • The Front Desk Associate must be able to effectively, proficiently and clearly speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to communicate both orally and written.
  • The ability to speak a foreign language would prove a welcomed virtue.


Job Type: Part-time - 16 hours per week, weekends, 7AM-3PM Shift.


Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (DOE).


Experience:

  • Front Desk/Concierge: 2 years (Required).
  • Customer service: 2 years (Required).
  • Hospitality: 2 years (Required).


Location:

  • West Palm Beach, FL (Preferred).


Work authorization:

  • United States (Required).


Shifts:

  • Morning 7A-3P (Preferred).
  • Weekends (Preferred).
  • Floater.
