As an SEO specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing best industry practices for classified and real estate portals when it comes to SEO growth. You will be working closely with the Product and SEO teams to bring forward new enhancements and features to the Dubizzle and Bayut Egypt platforms. You will keep important stakeholders up to date with regard to the ever-changing landscape of SEO and accordingly refine the SEO strategy.
In this role, you will:
Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value keywords relevant to the Egyptian market;
Develop and implement effective SEO strategies tailored to the blog’s content and target audience in Egypt;
Ensure all content produced by the editorial team is SEO-friendly, including metadata, headers, images, and internal links;
Manage the WordPress blog, ensuring that all content is properly categorised and formatted by the marketing team;
Work with content creators to ensure that all posts adhere to SEO guidelines;
Collaborate with developers, providing clear instructions on necessary improvements for the blog;
Work closely with the content, marketing, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of the blog;
Provide SEO training and guidance to team members as needed;
Have an awareness of the changing landscape when it comes to SEO;
Dissect technical SEO issues and propose solutions;
Collaborate with international teams to implement on-page improvements for Arabic commercial pages on the website;
Conduct SEO Audits as needed and analyse traffic trends with regard to engagement and conversion metrics;
Brainstorm SEO improvements, conduct research and dig into data to understand and propose the business value underlying each SEO project/campaign.
Minimum bachelor's degree, preferably from a Computer Science background
2 to 3 years of experience as an SEO with at least 4 years of WordPress experience
Proficiency in Arabic & English is mandatory;
Good knowledge of the local market;
Expertise in technical SEO and managing WordPress platforms;
Advanced knowledge of SEO tools like GA, GSC, Ahrefs, Semrush, etc and Google SEO Ranking Factors.
Excellent analytical skills;

Ability to manage workload with changing demands;
