Umeed aims to expand their branches and Youth Welfare services in other cities.
1,00,000+ hot food plates were distributed to the people affected by COVID19 through their Mega Kitchen in Varanasi. 600+ food packets were distributed at crematoriums and hospitals. 200+ plates per month have been served under their Midnight hunger initiative. Umeed is planning to increase it by 1000+ plates per month in the Midnight hunger program for 5 years.
80+ students are provided accommodation at Umeed’s Youth Welfare Centres in Varanasi and Prayagraj now. After Govindpur Youth Welfare Centre construction, Umeed is planning to extend the support to 500+ students in the next 5 years.
Through women empowerment centres, Umeed is aiming to train 100+ women in stitching and embroidery and make them self employed. In the next 5 years, Umeed is planning to open women empowerment centres in a few more cities.
13,000+ youths have been given workshops under value education category. 1000+ students appeared in Umeed’s Personality Assessment Test, where they were evaluated with respect to their IQ, EQ, and SQ. Umeed is aiming to reach 50,000+ youths through value education category and want to support 2000+ students for the Personality Assessment Test in 5 years.
Umeed would be conducting Skill training workshops through their Youth Welfare Centers to train underprivileged youth with the necessary skills needed to secure their career. Umeed is planning to train 1000+ students through online mode and 700+ students through offline mode.
40+ street kids are being provided teaching assistance through the volunteers now, Umeed is aiming to give shelter to 500+ students in the next 5 years.

10+ students were provided merit-based scholarship under an initiative, Samarth Bharat, for academic assistance. Umeed is aiming to increase it to 50+ in the next 5 years
Umeed will create and run a Digital Lab and library at their centers in Varanasi and Prayagraj to aid underprivileged students in their academic and career needs. Presently Umeed is providing AC classrooms with a projector for students. In future, Umeed is planning to provide 10 computers and 1000+ books in the library.
Umeed will be creating an Incubation centre to guide students to become successful entrepreneurs. Umeed has supported 2 startups namely ‘Live to Give Services’ and ‘Teerth Yatra’ that are currently doing well. Umeed is also giving support to new startup named Acment. In the future, Umeed is expecting to support few more startups.
